Country X-ray Training provides flexible and practical radiography training courses for rural and remote point of care providers. Our courses are designed and presented by medical imaging experts. We are based in Clare; located 90 minutes north of Adelaide, South Australia.
Our Intermediate Rural and Remote Radiography course is a fully prescribed qualification by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) in accordance with regulation 57 of the Radiation Protection and Control (Ionising Radiation) Regulations 2015.
Learning packages are included and can be used as a reference guide long after you have completed the course. To ensure best practice is achieved, we include online support free of charge for six months. Refresher courses can be organised for those operators that hold a licence and wish to update their skills.
Radiography courses and subsequent licences are available to medical practitioners currently practicing medicine in Australia, or registered nurses working in a rural or remote location.
